One of our true highlights of our trip to Bariloche was arranging to
have Chef Richard cook at our private villa one evening. We were a
family of 11, and celebrating our parents 40th wedding anniversary. Chef Richard was a special treat, and he exceeded the expectations. We had requested Argentinian fare, and we received mouthwatering hors d'ouvres and appetizers to start with, followed by a main course of truly wonderfully cooked to perfection beef with accompaniements. Dessert was a chocolate flan with fresh fruits of the region, mmmm absolutely delicious! The menu was pefectly engineerd, with traditional flavors but contemporary foods that everyone enjoyed. Chef Richard even cooked vegetarian for one family member, and was also able to take into account other dietary restrictions. It was also great that the Chef and his assistant made their way around the kitchen without having to ask any questions, set the table and washed up after the meal, total luxury.
You must also allow the Chef to choose the wines for you, as this was
part of the experience tasting new wines, selected carefully by the chef naturally pairing it with his menu. Thank you Chef Richard for creating this perfect and unique celebration!
